Welcome Dreamers!
CastBound Studios is a not-for-profit youth theatre company built for the dreamers, the storytellers, and the bold-hearted performers of the GTA. We believe every young artist deserves a place where their creativity is nurtured, their voice is heard, and their passion is celebrated. We are dedicated to more than just staging high-quality productions—we’re creating a home for young performers. Through professional-level training, inspiring creative experiences, and a welcoming, inclusive environment, we help young artists develop the skills, confidence, and connections they need to shine—on stage and beyond. At CastBound, theatre isn’t just something you do, it’s a place to grow, to create, and to belong. We empower young artists to believe in themselves, and act with passion and integrity both on and off the stage.
If you’re ready to step into the story, we’d love to welcome you.

our story
CastBound Studios was founded by Kaden Hill, a theatre artist and educator from Ajax. Kaden’s love for theatre began early. At seven years old, he watched his father perform in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and became captivated by the power of storytelling and collaboration on stage. As he continued training and performing, that early spark grew into a deeper understanding of theatre — not as a solo pursuit, but as a collective one. Growing up in Ajax, meaningful youth theatre opportunities were limited. To access serious training, Kaden often had to travel outside the community. Along the way, he met other artists who shared the same frustration — and the same belief that young performers deserved better access, mentorship, and care close to home. CastBound Studios was created by bringing those artists together around a shared vision: to build a youth theatre company rooted in professional practice, collaboration, and community. A place where creativity and discipline coexist, and where young performers are supported not just as artists, but as people.

There was Never a Dull Moment! The staff running CastBound were having just as much fun as we were. They helped foster a tight knit family and I am so grateful I get to be part of it.

A Truly Life-Changing Experience! My son attended CastBound last summer and genuinely enjoyed every single minute of it. The experience was truly transformational for him — he came home more confident, more self-assured, and proud of what he had accomplished. Kaden and his team are incredible. Their support, patience, and encouragement made my son feel seen, valued, and capable. They create an all-inclusive, welcoming space where every child feels like they belong, no matter their skill level or personality. As a parent, watching his confidence grow has been amazing. CastBound didn’t just give him a great summer — it helped shape him in ways that will stay with him for life. We can’t recommend CastBound enough. If you’re considering it, do it. It’s the kind of program every child deserves.

I’m incredibly grateful to be part of CastBound Studios. It’s such an exciting and supportive space — getting to watch the kids grow not only as performers, but as people, is something really special. Seeing the shows come to life throughout the rehearsal process is so rewarding, and my favourite part of the process is definitely Theatre Sports. The games create a great balance between play and artistic work. I’m beyond thankful for the opportunity to work with CastBound.
